SHIPPING DEPARTMENT
This is a key part time position that supports our online marketplace year-round. Tasks include sales tracking, packing and shipping boxes, creating shipping labels, ordering, and tracking inventory, reporting customer issues, etc. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a well-developed ability to multi-task and perform under pressure. Basic computer skills required. Experience in a similar position is preferred.
RETAIL SHOP STAFF
We have part time and full time seasonal positions available working in our retail shop located at the Mill in Freedom, ME. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help us nurture this growing piece of the TLK business. Responsibilities will include retail sales, customer service, managing and stocking displays, and tracking inventory. Attention to detail is a must. 2+ years retail experience and basic computer skills required.
HOUSEKEEPING
This is a key seasonal position that runs from June through October. You will play a key role on the TLK team to ensure that our guests feel welcome and comfortable upon arrival. Utmost attention to detail is key, and the ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of hospitality and guest services. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintaining, and restocking our overnight cabins, bedmaking, woodstove maintenance, laundry and more. This is a physical and fast-paced position, and you must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitality position is required.
KITCHEN
This seasonal position runs from May through October and supports our food programming. Responsibilities include kitchen prep for both daytime and evening services. The ideal candidate has 3 - 5 years kitchen and baking experience as well as a strong attention to detail while being an engaging self-starter, team player, and problem-solver who can think on their feet. Must be available to work weekends and mornings.
