SHIPPING AND FULFILLMENT MANAGER

The Lost Kitchen online shop is an extension of the experience we create here at the mill. We are seeking a Shipping & Fulfillment Manager to lead our year-round packing and shipping operation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring that orders move thoughtfully, accurately, and efficiently from our shelves to our customers.

Responsibilities

● Oversee the day-to-day operation of our shipping and fulfillment facility

● Lead, schedule, and support the fulfillment team

● Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped safely, accurately and on time

● Maintain organized and accurate inventory and coordinate closely with Purchasing and Retail

● Manage carrier relationships, shipping rates, documentation, and logistics

● Track shipments and quickly resolve delivery, inventory, or fulfillment issues

● Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising quality

● Maintain an organized, safe, and well-functioning workspace

● Prepare for seasonal peaks and changing order volume

● Continually refine systems and processes to improve efficiency and the customer experience

The Right Person

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of a busy operation. You should be equally comfortable leading a team and jumping in alongside them when needed.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, an effective problem-solver, and someone who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and care.

Basic computer proficiency is required, as is the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Previous experience in shipping, fulfillment, warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar leadership role is strongly preferred. Shopify experience is a plus.

SHIPPING DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT

Our thoughtfully curated collection of home and kitchen wares, pantry goods, books, linens, ceramics, and other special finds reflects the spirit of The Lost Kitchen and the people who visit and shop with us. Every item has a story, and every interaction matters.

We are seeking a Shipping Department Assistant to support our year-round packing and shipping operation. This is a key part-time position responsible for helping ensure that online orders are prepared accurately, thoughtfully, and on time.

Responsibilities

● Pick, pack, and ship online orders

● Create shipping labels and prepare packages for delivery

● Receive, organize, price, and track inventory

● Maintain accurate inventory records

● Help keep the shipping and fulfillment area organized, clean, and well-functioning

● Work closely with the Shipping & Fulfillment Manager and other team members to resolve order or inventory issues

● Support the team during periods of increased order volume

● Contribute to an efficient and positive customer experience

The Right Person

DISHWASHER

Back of house at the Lost Kitchen is a team that provides a seamless service built on respect, discipline, and collaboration.

We are seeking dishwashers to support the kitchen by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout service.

Responsibilities include operating commercial dishwashing equipment, washing and properly storing plates, glassware, flatware, and cookware, maintaining a steady flow of clean dishes during service, and keeping the dish station, bussing stations and kitchen areas clean and organized. The role also assists with trash and recycling, basic cleaning tasks, and supporting the kitchen team as needed.

No prior experience is required, though kitchen experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

This is a part time, seasonal position with competitive hourly compensation and the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team.
